Overview

Through home visits and site visits, the Belle Center brings special instruction and therapy to children with disabilities in their natural environments.  We also provide important supportive services, including advocacy, parent support, professional consultation, sibling support groups and workshops on topics related to inclusion, child development, and disability.  Since founded, we have provided services at nearly 60 community sites in the Chicagoland area, including schools, day camps, park district programs, day care centers and homes.  We currently make over 2,000 direct service visits, complemented by over 1,000 supportive service contacts, each year.  Our services are designed to reach all facets of a child's community, from home to extra-curricular activites.
